Squiz Matrix jQuery Asset Map

I have been playing around with the idea of having a javascript asset map for MySource Matrix. Using the ability to send and receive XML from the asset map, I was able to re-create the tree functionality of the asset map. So far, browsing is the only thing that has been built. But, I will continue to add new features, so, some day we will be able to have a non-java asset map :).

Excellent. I've been wanting to build one these myself for quite some time. I also think there is some room for improvement in the asset map in terms of usability. The way you move, link and clone assets seems very fiddly, mainly due to the fact that clicking on the icon and clicking on the text has different behavior. The motor skills required to do that are too high and we found that at our work place most people stumbled quite a lot and actually created clones or moved assets by accident without even realizing it.
